We talk to Miládka mostly from the phone. We write or dictate on WhatsApp what she should note down or take care of, and she does it and replies. She transcribes voice notes herself, right on the computer. WhatsApp can't be connected in the Claude app, and we didn't find a ready-made solution we would trust. So we built our own.
You get exactly what we use ourselves. The guide is written mainly for Miládka: what she can do herself, she does, and she asks you about everything that depends on your preferences.

- You write to Miládka from your phone. A task, a note, a meeting. Miládka writes it down, takes care of it and replies on WhatsApp.
- You dictate. She transcribes voice notes right on your computer. Nothing leaves it.
- An overview of your messages. Who wrote what shows up in your morning brief, together with your mail.
- Instructions only from you. Messages from anyone else are just information for Miládka, whatever they say.
Two ways to use it
Miládka links to the WhatsApp account that scans the QR code. Depending on which one, she can do two different things:
- Miládka has her own number (recommended). A second SIM, an eSIM or an old phone is enough. You write to her from your phone like to anyone else, and she replies.
- Miládka on your number, much like with email. She reads your chats, drafts replies and sends on your behalf only what you approve. You can't give her instructions over WhatsApp: to her, your messages are sent by you.
The risk to your number. Miládka connects to WhatsApp as another linked device, just like WhatsApp Web, but in an unofficial way. WhatsApp's terms forbid it and WhatsApp can ban the number for it. That's why we recommend a separate number for Miládka, not your main one.
What to expect
Miládka does the setup. From you she only needs what she can't do for you:
- Decide which number. Miládka's own number, or yours.
- Allow the connection. One confirmation when the Claude app asks.
- Scan a QR code. With the phone that has the WhatsApp account for Miládka.
- Agree to voice note transcription. Optional, a one-time download of about 510 MB.
Step 1 - Write to Miládka

Miládka reads the guide and takes you through it one step at a time. First she explains the risk and asks which number you want to use. Then she suggests settings (which chats she may read, whom she may write to, how long to keep photos) and asks whether you want anything different.
Step 2 - Allow the connection
Miládka asks you to open a new conversation. The Claude app asks there whether to allow the whatsapp server. Allow it and write to Miládka "Continue connecting WhatsApp".
Step 3 - Scan the QR code
Get the phone with WhatsApp for Miládka ready: Settings → Linked devices → Link a device. Once you say the camera is ready, Miládka opens an image with the QR code.
It opens in the Photos app.
It opens in Preview.
Scan the code with the phone. It's valid only for a short while. If you miss it, tell Miládka and she shows a new one.
Step 4 - Voice note transcription
Miládka offers to transcribe voice notes. It downloads once, about 510 MB, and then every voice note gets transcribed by itself right on your computer. If you don't want it, voice notes keep coming as audio files.
How it works afterwards
- Miládka replies while the Claude app is running with her conversation. She reacts to a message within half a minute. When the computer is off or the app is closed, messages wait and Miládka goes through them once you open it.
- Waiting costs nothing. A small program on your computer watches for new messages, not Miládka. It wakes her only when you write. Each wake-up then uses a bit of your Claude subscription limit, much like a question in the chat.
- Other people can wake her too. If you want messages from a colleague or a project group right away, tell Miládka. She still takes instructions only from you.
- Photos and voice notes are saved to the
inbox/whatsappfolder and deleted after 30 days. Message text and transcripts stay. Whatever you want to keep for good, she moves to your sources.
Security
- Only on your computer. The link and the stored messages stay in Miládka's folder on your computer. They don't go into the GitHub backup.
- Firm limits. You decide which chats she may read and whom she may write to. She doesn't change that on her own.
- Disconnect any time. On the phone under Linked devices, or just tell Miládka.
